Best Plagiarism Checker
As an author, reporter, writer and critic I take my work very seriously indeed, I'm proud of what I produce, and hope that others will read it and it will make them stop and think about a concept or idea. But what is to stop the unscrupulous simply taking my work and passing it off as their own – being a plagiarist.
Technology today is rich in its capacity to be able to contract and compare but what is 'good for the goose…' and in recent years a number of packages, programs and apps have sprung up that would allow the author to check on the work of others to see if they have been plagiarized. But how do you choose which is the best plagiarism software on the market? One of the most tested idioms is 'horses for courses' might suit me, but won't necessarily suit somebody else.
There is a vast choice of packages out there and the best way to find them is to type the phrase 'plagiarism checker' into your search engine – I did and it came up with ‘About 1,320,000 results (0.12 seconds)’ – I make no apologies for the 'copy and paste'. So how do you choose which service is the best plagiarism checker? Well you may need to narrow down your search a bit by extending the phrase and adding the word 'software'.
It all depends on what you want from it, how much you are willing to invest in something that might protect your output. For some it's about getting a quick solution, for others it might be a more comprehensive requirement. Some require registration and charge, others are free, some are seen by the industry and being more reliable and robust than others – some will work on PC and others on Mac. My recommendation doesn't matter but I would suggest that if you are looking for the best free plagiarism checker then use the technology that the Internet was designed for – a search engine and a good place to start (they have already narrowed the field somewhat) is probably a website such as ‘SearchEngineJournal’. They have done most of the work of comparing sites and packages and while it would be wrong to simply choose the first package on the list, it would be good to look at a few before you buy (or download for free).
It's your livelihood!
